Cast & Cruise Sundowner
- Duration: 2 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Rottnest Island, WA
- Product code: RCSUN
See in the night at Rottnest Island with an authentic Australian experience on board a 2-hour, all-inclusive ‘Cast & Cruise Sundowner’.
Soak up the magic of sunset skies on a premium 69-ft boat, while enjoying unlimited beverages including still and sparkling wines from Howard Park, quality bottled beers and soft drinks. Enjoy ocean-inspired canapes created by a private chef, featuring a fusion of local ingredients with fresh West Australian seafoods.
While at anchor, cast a line to try your hand at catching some of WA’s best-known nearshore fish, like Herring and Whiting. Your catch can be cooked to enjoy on board or taken away with you. Please note that if you have small children and they fish, we would ask you closely supervise them as fishing kit can be dangerous.
Relax to admire the Island’s tranquil coastline as you cruise to anchor. Finish with a picture-perfect view of sunset skies over Rottnest’s sparkling ocean.
Departs from Thomson Bay Fuel Jetty.

Menu has seasonal variations.
All fishing equipment and bait is supplied, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
We also offer reserved charters for groups and private bookings, with customised itineraries and menu options available. Please contact us to enquire.
Rottnest’s waters are very healthy and productive for fishing, but there is no guarantee you will catch fish. We will, of course, help you as much as possible.
During the West Coast demersal finfish closed season (15 October to 15 December 2019), under rules of the Department of Fisheries, our fishing tours will be restricted to allowable catch species only, with no demersal finfish to be caught and retained.
We also offer deep-sea fishing trips for demersal fish (such as Dhufish) within season, however this requires a tailored itinerary. Please contact us to enquire.
